August Beauty Favorites

It’s the first day in the month of September and I’m excited to see what this month has for me. I enjoyed using some products in past months and I’d like to detail them as favorites for August.

  1. MAC lipstick in Spirit: Lately, I’ve just been drawn to using lipsticks from MAC more often and I really love this one. It’s a nude satin lipstick with a brown undertone. One of the highlights for me is that it suits my skin tone well and I even feel any skin tone can rock it as well.  This is part of the reasons I love MAC products. They are very versatile. I would usually pair this lipstick with any dark brown lip liner for that ombre effect. Recommended lip liner will be ‘Chestnut’ from MAC.
  2. Maybelline Lash sensational Mascara: You wouldn’t believe after exhausting my first tube, I went to purchase 2 more tubes at their counter at Ikeja city mall so i don’t run out too soon. I’m not really that girl that loves to wear lashes because I have curly lashes and it’s such a struggle wearing them but then again, I like the effect it gives. This Mascara does just that for me.The mascara has Argan oil in it so as I used it, my top and bottom lashes grew longer. This is one mascara I don’t think I will replace.
  3. MAC Mineralize concealer: This was a recommendation from one of the MAC artist at the counter at Ikeja city mall and I actually don’t regret buying it at all.  This concealer works perfectly for me. Easy to blend, beautiful finish and once it dries, it doesn’t move. It also has a brush applicator for easy application.

I will be doing a part 2 of this post, talking about my skincare / hair care favorites Soon.

So, what are the products you’ve loved in August?
