I first discovered Colourpop’s precision brow pencils and after using them, I could only accept they were the best thing i’d ever used to fill in my brows. I wasn’t sure how long they would last me as ordering from Nigeria usually takes a while to deliver so I decided to go for their Precision Brow Colour which would ideally last me way longer.
So Coloupop says they are, ‘water resistant, all-day-wear brow colour in a pot. Delivers smooth and precise application for bolder, better brows.’ I honestly don’t really care for waterproof brow products.
First off, I must say the packaging is so cute! I think I love anything that comes in a little pot. The glass pot is honestly very adorable. You get 3.0g of product for $6 (about 2,220 NGN) which honestly isn’t bad in my opinion. I purchased two shades, Black ‘N Brown which is second to the darkest and Bangin’ Brunette which is the third to the darkest. I bought Bangin’ Brunette for the inner part of my brows and Black ‘N Brown for the outer part of my brows. Now honestly, this was just me being extra as Black ‘N Brown would ideally fill in my brows without any noticeable difference, but you know… lol. Meanwhile, I actually picked out these 2 shades as they fit my caramel-chocolate skin ideally.
I really love the finish. It’s not waxy at all which is perfect. I also love that it’s a bit creamy which makes the product easy to apply and then dries down to powder on application. It doesn’t exactly smear except you really go out of your way to rub on it.Also, I’ve heard people say that the reason they don’t use brow pomades is they dry out after opening it. I’ve had both products for 3 months+, used Black ‘N Brown twice and it hasn’t dried up yet. I believe it will with use though but would take a while. Okay so, I honestly like it and I think it’s a fantastic product from Colourpop.
Will I repurchase? Certainly Yes! I purchased it online from the Colourpop site. They ship to worldwide.
