Five worth trying

Five worth trying - She is naturally bronze

I’ve always thought to write on products that I’ve tested and I think are hype-worthy but I’m just getting around to it. I’ve though to write on makeup, skincare and a definitely mix of both. Basically products that tickle my fantasy. So this post is a thing I’d be posting regularly, probably monthly. For this post, since I own a lot of makeup, I’ve  out makeup that I’ve used and that I think are worth you trying.

M.A.C Mineralize Skinfinish (Dark Deepest): Before I started blogging full-time, I watched great reviews about this powder, so I made my way to a MAC store and got myself one.  At first, I didn’t like it for reasons I can’t remember so I stuck to using my other powders. I noticed how oily my skin on makeup would get so I picked it up again. It wasn’t until I’d walked hours under the sun and my face was still matte and in placed that I recognized how good it is. Another thing I love is that it’s quite sheer and gives me an airbrushed finish. It’s quite pricey too but it’s definitely worth your cash.M.A.C Mineralize Skinfinish - She is naturally bronze

Colourpop Ultra Glossy lip (Fairy floss): I’ve just been getting into glosses lately, and I thought to try this one out. It’s a sheer, fairly nude gloss that glides on smoothly on the lips. I especially love this gloss because it’s a non-stick gloss unlike some others I’ve tried. It’s really hard to come across such a lip-gloss and this is why I feel its worth the try.Colourpop Ultra Glossy lip, Fairy floss - Sheisntaurallybronze

Black|up Sublime powder (02): I’m that girl that loves subtle highlighters. It’s either subtle or it’s a no for me. I’m not into my cheeks shinning from a mile away. In fact, I feel the highlighting thing can be a bit too much for casual occasions so i tend to stay away from it. Well, this highlighter is almost like a face powder with the right amount of luster in it. It has a silky, buttery finish which dissolves into your skin but is also visibly highlights your cheeks. I believe Black|up markets it as a allover-the-face powder but most people use it as a highlighter, I inclusive. If you are just like me, it’s definitely worth your bucks . Again, it’s pricey but it’s a good investment.Black|up Sublime powder (02) - sheisntaurallybronze

Super Shock Shadow (Telepathy): I don’t really hear Colourpop’s Super Shock Shadows being raved about as much and I wonder why.  Anyway, If you’re into buttery eye shadows, then these are worth trying. They are very vibrant, and they glide on the lids quite smoothly. These single shadows are a steal too because they are only $5 (less than 2,000naira) and Colourpop delivers Internationally.Colourpop Super Shock Shadow Telepathy -Sheisnaturallybronze

Colourpop Brow pencil (Black ‘N Brown): I ordered this brow pencil when I got to know Colourpop delivers to Nigeria and they stole my heart the moment I tried them. They are quite unlike any pencil I’ve used before, although I haven’t used so many. It comes with a spoolie to brush your brows in place. I use it to fill in my brows nicely and they stay put even after many hours. If you’re looking for a good, inexpensive brow pencil, definitely try this.

  1. Love the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Powder. I don’t know a lot about makeup, but it’s definitely one of my all-time fave things. Because of your review, I’m interested in trying out the Colourpop brow pencil. Till then, it’s me and my Davis pencil, haha.

I’m like you and prefer a subtle highlight. Just started using Iman Luminous Foundation cause it does just that. I’ve also heard a lot of good things about MAC Mineralize Skinfinish but still yet to try. Great blog xx
