Skin lovin’ | Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner

I didn’t recently purchase the Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner and as a matter of fact i’m even on my second bottle. However, I feel i can properly tell you about it since it now. I really had always wanted to write this earlier but i just wasn’t sure how many people were interested in K-beauty like me. Anyway, this is one of those ‘Instagram made me buy it‘ products, and honestly I don’t regret it. Also, I was always searching for a solution to my dehydrated skin and I decided to give it a try. Oh, and packaging was pretty too! There are two variations of this toner and because my skin is quite sensitive, I picked the unscented version.Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented TonerAbout Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner

The Supple preparation unscented toner is formulated with a base of various botanical extracts to balance the skin’s pH level and provide full nourishment to the skin. Its claims…

  • Essential oil free
  • Balances pH
  • Deeply moisturizes
  • Cleanses & Soothes

My Observations

The toner is a clear, semi-thick liquid that comes in a 180ml  / 6.08fl.oz. bottle. It is thicker than water but not as thick as a serum. It also has this faint medicinal scent but nothing too irritating or overpowering. In fact, I low-key love how it smells.

I consider this toner dual functional. It’s that toner that helps to get off residual dirt after cleansing and also hydrate your skin. So you can use it as a toner and as a hydrating product. This toner feels like water on my skin. It’s like my skin is having a drink of water every time i put it on. It doesn’t have that greasy feeling on the skin either. What really stands out for me while using it is the well-hydrated, plumping and brightening effect it gives my skin immediately. Needless to say, it’s super light and can be used under makeup (to achieve a dewy makeup look). You can also layer your serums, moisturizers & sunscreen on it without your skin feeling heavy.

However, what I’ve notice is that this toner tends to evaporate fast from your skin, although not as fast as water, so you’d need to seal in with a cream or a facial oil. Sometimes, I use it as a hydrating serum by mixing it in with the Ordinary Argan Oil on days i’m indoors, just to keep my skin hydrated. More so, it’s also really satisfying to know that it is pH balancing. Overall, it is super lightweight, doesn’t irritate my skin and gets the job of hydrating my skin done.

Would i repurchase? Certainly! It’s a staple now in my stash.
