K-Beauty or nah?

…and by K- beauty Skincare I mean, Korean Beauty.

I’m an acne-prone skin girl which led me to becoming a skin care fanatic – I’m sure you already know. I kind of see my having bad skin earlier in my life as a blessing. I’m always looking for the next skin care Product to try. Good lord, then I stumbled on K-beauty. Their product packaging is attractive and I hear their skin care is effective so I thought, why not?

K-Beauty skin care took the world by storm only a few years ago and skin care lovers are seriously buying it. Well, so am I! Koreans are the ones who made me discover “glass skin”, a term for clear, supple and well hydrated skin, skin many of them seem to possess. So I’m on my own quest for glass skin and I started with these products.

Cosrx Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser

The Cosrx Salicylic Acid Gentle cleanser was actually my first K-beauty buybut I didn’t exactly like it so I decided to tried this. I had heard how lovely it was and also knowing that it had a low PH cleanser was even more attractive. I love that it’s a gel cleanser with BHA which makes it quite ideal for acne-prone, oily and sensitive skin.Been using it for quite some time now and I think I like it.

Dear, Klairs Gentle Black Cleansing Puff

I first saw this puff on Instagramand it looked really interesting to try. It particularly reminds me of Konjac sponges  which are ideal for cleansing and mild exfoliation. I recently started to cleanse with an oil first, using the puff and so far, i’m digging it!

Dear, Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner

This toner is a K-beauty best-sellerin the bloggersphere so I knew I had to get my hands on it. The packaging also had a lot to do with my purchasing it. Truth be told, I needed a really good hydrating toner as my skin has long been suffering from dehydration using Benzoyl Peroxide. I was really ready to experience deep lasting hydration! After all, that’s what the toner promises. The toner was much smaller than I expected but I got over that in two minutes. My skin drinks up this toner like a dehydrated baby. I think my skin is in love with toners generally. They are so essential in my routine!

Dear, Klairs Toner Mate 2 in 1 Cotton Pads

These were the cotton pads created to work with the Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner so I got it to see if it’s any different from using normal cotton pads. I like it especially because the pads are really thin so you don’t have to soak it with too much of the product allowing you use the toner for a long time. To get the most of the toner, I suggest you get the pads as well.

Mizon Multi Function Formula Snail Repair Eye cream

I needed an eye cream and so I bought one. It was as basic as that. I also chose this eye cream because it contains snail essence, comes in a small put and a spatula. It’s quite thin and oily on the skin and leaves a bit of a white if you don’t work into your eyes properly. As for puffiness & dark circles, we’ll see!
